A. Lange & Söhne
Ferdinand Adolph Lange founded the company in Glashütte, then in the Kingdom of Saxony, in 1845. It was nationalised in 1948, and the present firm is a revival: Lange Uhren GmbH, set up in 1990 by Walter Lange and Günter Blümlein.
